Let Me Entertain You 👄 as a Drag Queen

 I was born in Queens, NY in the fall of 2005.
I was living there to pursue a career as a Broadway actor. After months of rejection, frustration and desperation I decided to change my life in a more positive way and that's when Chacha was born. However, my original name was Angel Peligro, which later changed into Lachika Peligro and then into Chacha Chalez. But, this "new" name didn't last long! 

Chacha Caché became my new name and marked an evolution of ideas which helped me produce my first Drag Talent Show. It was a new format combining Pageantry, Improvisational Skills, Creativity & Live Scoring : "Chacha's Got Talent". Talented Drag Performers came together week after week to compete and crown a Season Winner at the end of a 10 week cicle.

Currently based in West Hollywood, CA. and worldwide known as CHACHA™, I entertain at several nightclubs in California, Arizona, Nevada and NYC. I have  worked with Chelsea Handler, Chuy Bravo, David Allan Grier, Gene Simmons, Melissa and Joan Rivers, Gloria Allred, Danny Devito & Simon Baker.
